Dr. Anthony J. Benza was born and raised in Naples, Florida. Growing up in Naples, Dr. Benza attended St. Ann School, Pine Ridge Middle School, and graduated from Barron Collier High School. He was active in Boy Scouts and achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. After high school, he attended Nova Southeastern University and majored in biology. After graduating from Nova, he completed a masters course in biomedical science at Barry University. Dr. Benza then continued his father’s legacy by attending Case Western Reserve University Dental School in Cleveland, Ohio. While attending CWRU, he was involved in many community outreach programs. Dr. Benza is happy to be back home in Naples to join the family practice.

Dr. Benza enjoys the technical and artistic aspects of dentistry and how they can be used to give patients the highest quality care. Patients often comment on Dr. Benza’s pleasant, caring chairside manner. He truly enjoys meeting new patients and spending time getting to know them. With every appointment, he provides personalized service, treating patients’ individual needs with the level of attention they deserve. As a dedicated member of the dental community, Dr. Benza participates in several professional organizations, including the Collier County Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He also stays diligent in pursuing continuing education courses to improve his knowledge of the latest dental procedures. He has taken numerous advanced CEREC classes at their headquarters in Arizona and has achieved the prestigious “Mentor” status. In Naples he attends education opportunities through the Spear’s Academy Study Club with other local dentists.

Away from the office, Dr. Benza enjoys playing golf and basketball. He follows most professional sports and is a Miami Heat and Dolphins fan. He enjoys travelling with his wife from relaxing weekend getaways to exploring historic Europe. On a recent trip to Athens, he proposed to his wife Chelsea, whom he met in dental school. They got married in October 2016.
